I’m an automotive writing intern working at a lovely publishing agency in London. This blog was started while I was at university, and was intended to focus on cars. Such was life/my inability to concentrate on one thing that I also reported on cows, and cotton wool buds, and Preston, and Uganda.

Between 2008 and 2011 I was a Journalism student at the University of Central Lancashire. It was fantastic. If you want to study and practise journalism, go there. Just don’t live above a takeaway like I did, otherwise you’ll smell of old frying oil, chips and chicken.

In 2008 I entered and subsequently won the Sir William Lyons Award – an award promoted by the Guild of Motoring Writers. If you want to be a motoring journalist too, I suggest you enter it; I had an excellent night out at the RAC Clubhouse in Pall Mall.

Until the end of 2010, my voice could be heard on Man Banter, an award-winning radio show which I and four friends presented on UCLan’s Student Union radio station, Frequency Radio. I don’t like hearing my own voice, so I don’t know if it was any good or not. Please get in touch if you listened.

All comments are appreciated on my posts. So if you have any thoughts or, in particular, advice to offer then please do get in touch (email me here: peteradamsblog@gmail.com).

Thanks for all the Re-Tweeting for Inside Project M. We’ll send you a signed print of the car after it’s released. I’ve got your blog in my reader, so keep it up.

Best of luck on your studies
